Community Employment Program Manager The mission of Easterseals Rehabilitation Center in Evansville, IN, is to make profound, positive differences in the lives of local people with disabilities every day, and to change the way our community defines and views disability. We are hiring! Easterseals Rehabilitation Center provides Employment Services and Supports for individuals with disabilities in Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, and Gibson counties. We are seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Community Employment Program Manager. This position is responsible for the coordination and implementation of all valid components of the Community Employment Program. This is a dual role that will provide program supervision as well as a smaller amount of direct community employment services to participants. This position also establishes and maintains appropriate relationships with employers, funders, and other service providers to promote Easterseals Community Employment services. The ideal candidate will
Supervise and train staff, establish workloads, assign tasks, review results, and resolve work related problems.
Assist in interviewing and hiring appropriate staff for Community Employment Program.
Train and support staff to effectively market services to employers in the community.
Review and screen all referrals to ascertain appropriate program placement.
Maintain certification as Employment Specialist, Ticket-to-Work provider, and BIN Liaison.
Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with community employers, partners, funders, and other service providers to enhance CIE outcomes for individuals served.
Prepare and deliver oral or written presentations to funders, employers, clients and their families and other social service agencies.
Serve as a member of the Management Team.
Minimum qualifications
Must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a Human Services field.
At least 3 years of experience in the Human Service Field, with 2 years being in a supervisory role.
Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, vocational rehabilitation services, and State agencies (VR, BDDS, Waiver) desired.
Must be able to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
Must have a valid Driver’s License and current Car Insurance with the ability to provide own transportation to and from community job sites.
Salary range is $45,000 to $52,000.
Ability to lift 40lbs routinely (demonstrated by a lifting test) and 70lbs occasionally
