Easterseals South Carolina is actively hiring for a Natural Environment/In-Home Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant for a part-time Independent Contractor position in Columbia, South Carolina. Travel area will be located in the Seven Oaks/St Andrews Area.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide direct care services in the natural environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in implementing treatment programs as directed by the physical therapist.
- Monitor and document patient progress during treatment sessions.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with the physical therapist to modify treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate with physicians, family, and other health care providers to coordinate care.
- Maintain client therapy records by recording client's progress in service notes each treatment session.
Qualifications:
- Current State license.
- Compliant with State regulatory requirements.
- Completion of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program at an accredited educational institution.
- Must have reliable personal transportation.
