Easton Utilities is currently seeking to fill the position of Accounts Payable Specialist.
JOB OBJECTIVE: To play a pivotal role alongside the Controller in efficiently managing a high volume of financial transactions at the Easton Utilities Commission. This full-time, non-exempt position is dedicated to providing meticulous and timely financial information to both management and regulatory bodies.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Tech-Savvy Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in PC skills, including basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to efficiently manage a high volume of financial transactions.
- Financial Acumen: Minimum of two years or more experience in an accounting-related position, showcasing a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Analytical Aptitude: Possess excellent analytical skills, enabling thorough examination and interpretation of financial data to drive informed decision-making.
- Effective Communication: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for clear and concise interaction with colleagues, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
- Also, hold a valid driver’s license, as occasional travel may be required for tasks such as bank deposits or vendor visits.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
