We is hiring for a Field Service Plumber for a well-renown general contractor that has been offering quality services to clients in the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors in the greater Phoenix, AZ. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Install, Repair, and Maintain Plumbing Systems and Components:

• Identify required tools and special equipment.
• Locate and mark positions using technology.
• Install supports and hangers for pipes, fixtures, and equipment.
• Assemble and install valves and fittings.
• Install, repair, and maintain water treatment equipment, piping, and controls.
• Install, repair, and maintain sinks, tubs, and toilets.
• Install, repair, and maintain water heaters and conditioners.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances, and trim.
• Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.

Maintain Building Codes, Installation Requirements, and Relevant Legislation:

• Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Apply all codes to installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Ensure all requirements specified by the manufacturer of systems and fixtures are met.
• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance are properly sized, aligned, supported, and graded.
• Ensure all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet environmental protection requirements.

Teamwork, Standards & Expectations:

• Establish effective working relationships with employees.
• Accept on-call rotation when assigned and assist on-call primary tech if needed.
• Must have basic tools to perform job duties.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Work with Project Manager when necessary for clarification on jobs.
• Maintain exceptional customer service skills.
• Complete job tickets and mileage logs accurately and thoroughly daily.
• Record the use of truck stock used on respective job tickets.
• Follow guidelines that protect the interest and safety of all employees and the organization.
• Company-provided uniforms and proper work boots are to be worn at all times.
• Present a professional manner: No foul language, limited cell phone use, and inform clients when tasks are completed.
• Ensure proper parking and cleanliness of work areas.
• Follow all safety protocols, including using personal protective equipment and proper use of tools.

Minimum Skills:

• Basic plumbing skills (e.g., replace faucets, unclog toilets, etc.).
• Troubleshooting and identifying leaks and backups.
• Expertise in jetting services (both low and high pressure).
• Proficiency with drain camera equipment.
• Quick learner with the ability to use basic hand tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow verbal or written directions.
• Safe driving skills.
• Ability to pick up and deliver supplies/materials.
• Maintain neatness, cleanliness, and organization in the shop, company vehicle, and job sites.
• Perform preventative maintenance work as required.
• Communication skills with dispatch/office.
• Understand and use different check-in/check-out requirements for each client.
• Ability to understand NTEs and work with Project Administrator/Service Coordinator.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other trades.
• Team-building skills.

Education & Experience:

• 2 to 5 years of plumbing service/drain cleaning trade experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant facility services.
• College or tech school attendance is a plus.
• Related seminars, classes, courses, and training with “certificates of completion” are a plus.
• Participate in relevant training programs as requested by the company.
