We are seeking a Teacher with 12 ECE credits completed to join our organization and prefer 3 of those credits to be in infant and/or toddler development and/or curriculum. This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for babies thru 24 months old or toddler for 2 to 3 year olds. Montessori training is provided at our brand new remodeled center.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct infants and toddlers in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and lead teachers
• Maintain the health and safety of all students
• Develop individualized plans for each child
• Facilitates and creates lesson plans for daily activities within school provided Montessori curriculum with flexibility and creativity encouraged
• Manages Brightwheel app for attendance, meal preparation and parent communication
• Light janitorial duties for upkeep within classroom and restroom
• Bright, cheery, playful, positive doer attitude a must
• Hire subject to criminal background check and Mandated Reporter training (reimbursement provided)

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields (Montessori understanding is a plus but training will be provided)
• 12 Early Childhood credits (ECE) required.
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with parents
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
