Job Summary: Eastsidetax & Bookkeeping is looking for someone who is self-driven, motivated and an experienced tax preparer and bookkeeper
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Punctual for work
 Prepare individual & business federal and state tax returns ( Form 1040 series, 1065 & 1120S)
 Bookkeeping for small businesses
 Payroll by direct deposit or paper check, and Quarterly reports for clients (941, TWC)
 Efficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook)
 Client customer service
 Administrative tasks (answer phones, greet clients, email, fax, file documents)
 Efficient with computer, calculator, copy machine, fax machine credit card machine
 Excellent verbal and written communication skills
 Speak and write English and Spanish
 Can lift up to 20lbs
 Work weekends during tax season
 Work overtime when needed
 Participate in IRS workshops and seminars

Education Requirements:
 Bachelors’ Degree in accounting (preferred)
Experience Requirements:
 5 years experience in tax preparation
 PTIN Number (preferred)
 2-3 years experience in Quickbooks
 Experience with Drake Software (preferred)
 Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
 Ability to work independently and to collaborate with the team
 Ability to multitask
 Customer service (resolve issues, help clients with information needed)
