**Job Summary:**
Plates dishes in a fast paced work environment committed to high quality hospitality and Member experience. The line cook also prepares food in accordance with recipes set by the Executive Chef, ensuring meal quality and Member satisfaction.

Requirements
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**
Sets up service units with needed items.
Prepares items that are ordered in accordance with established portions and presentation standards.
Notifies manager(s) of expected shortages.
Ability to prioritize, organize, work and follow through with assigned tasks.
Ensures that assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary.
Assists the manager(s) in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen.
Maintains neat professional appearance and always observes personal cleanliness rules.
Sets-up, maintains and breaks down prep cook station.
Requisitions items needed to produce menu items.
Adheres to local, state and federal health and safety regulations.
Covers, dates and neatly stores all leftover products that are re-usable.
Maintains the highest sanitary standards.
Coordinates and times orders with other kitchen operations.
Makes recommendations for maintenance, repair and upkeep of the line prep area and equipment.
Attends staff meetings.
Treat each other with respect and dignity is every team members responsibility.
Assists with any other reasonable job-related duties as assigned by manager(s).
**Qualifications:**
Experience working as a line cook in a similar hospitality establishment (country clubs, golf clubs, fine dining restaurants, etc.) is required. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach, and also able to push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
All line cooks should be ServSafe and Allergy Awareness certified within 60 days of starting the position. Eastward Ho! will assist in this training for all line cooks.
