Job Description**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a VCIO/Technical Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients, acting as their primary technical advisor/strategic consultant and ensuring we follow our firm’s mission which is to “Make IT Easy for our clients.” They will also oversee our recurring support agreements to drive efficiency and make our client engagements successful. Individuals in this position meet with our clients regularly, participate in status/planning meetings, follow up on their IT needs and work with our service delivery team regarding how we service our clients.
**Duties:**
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships
Understand clients’ business objectives, challenges, and needs and provide tailored technology solutions to meet those needs
Regularly communicate with clients to ensure they are satisfied with the services provided and to identify any areas of improvement.
Provide strategic consulting (VCIO responsibilities)
Develop and present IT strategies, roadmaps, and budgets that align with clients’ business goals
Advise clients on the latest technology trends, risks, and opportunities that could impact their business
Conduct regular technology reviews and audits to ensure clients’ IT environments are secure, efficient, and up to date.
Participate in status meetings to understand and oversee the services we provide. You will run some status meetings as a moderator and participate in meetings run by Technology Success Managers (TSMs)
Coordinate and hold yearly Executive Business Reviews with clients
Recommend options to leverage different EasyIT solutions to solve business issues
Facilitate communication with our clients
Oversee the implementation and management of technology solutions, ensuring they meet client requirements and are deliver on time and within budget.
Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Support, engineering) to resolve technical issues and improve service delivery.
Oversee the health of our client contracts
Review agreement efficiency and look for opportunities to improve it. Look for patterns in our engagements that can be improved.
Evaluate if we are making “IT Easy” for our clients and work to improve our services to support our mission statement.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
5 years of experience in IT management, technical account management, or a similar role.
Proven experience in IT strategy development, project management, and client relationship management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
