EasyLlama is Hiring a Remote Head of Product

As our Head of Product, you will report directly to the CEO and lead the strategic vision and execution of product innovation as EasyLlama expands its product lines and continues to gain market shares in the HR technology industry. You will be our product owner and shape the future of EasyLlama’s product development by championing user-centric design, gaining market insights, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders to deliver impactful and scalable solutions that drive adoption and meet business objectives. This role is open to US citizens and legal residents, as well as Canadian citizens. 
What You'll Do: 

  • Manage EasyLlama’s Existing Products: Be the owner of EasyLlama’s suite of products including our eLearning training products and how to make then even more innovative.
  • Product Strategy: You will be responsible for defining and refining EasyLlama's product vision and future strategy in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives. This involves understanding market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify product innovation and differentiation opportunities.
  • Alignment with Business Objectives: Ensure that the product strategy and roadmap align with EasyLlama's overall business objectives and revenue targets. Collaborate closely with executive leadership and other functional teams to translate business goals into actionable product initiatives.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive product initiatives that contribute to revenue growth and profitability. Identify opportunities to monetize products through PLG, pricing strategies, upsell/cross-sell opportunities, or new market expansion.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the prioritized features and enhancements to be delivered over time. This roadmap should be driven by customer feedback, market research, and strategic business priorities.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure alignment and coordination in product development efforts. Provide leadership and guidance to ensure that product initiatives are executed effectively and efficiently.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring that products are delivered on time and within budget. This includes defining product requirements, working closely with engineering teams to drive execution, and conducting regular reviews and iterations based on feedback and performance metrics.
  • User Experience (UX) and Design: Work closely with our design team to ensure that EasyLlama's products deliver exceptional user experiences that meet the needs and preferences of target customers. Advocate for user-centric design principles and best practices throughout the product development process.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct ongoing market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and customer insights (VOB/VOC) that can inform product decisions. Use data-driven insights to validate hypotheses, prioritize features, and optimize product performance.
  • Product Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success and performance of EasyLlama's products. Regularly monitor and analyze product metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimization, and make data-driven recommendations for enhancements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, executive leadership, and external partners on product-related matters. Communicate product plans, progress, and updates effectively to ensure alignment and transparency across the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the product organization, fostering innovation, creativity, and excellence in product development processes and practices.

Who You Are:

  • You have 7-10 years in senior product management roles in the SaaS industry with a proven track record of success in developing and launching software products.
  • You possess a startup entrepreneurship mindset and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment by being ambitious, proactive and adaptable.
  • Strategic vision is second nature through the ability to understand market trends, innovate and develop product strategy aligned with business goals.
  • You can effectively lead and inspire cross-functional teams, drive consensus, and develop high-performing teams.
  • You have an understanding of technology and software development with the ability to translate technical concepts into business requirements.
  • You've got strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions to inform product strategy and optimize product performance.
  • Communication is key. You can clearly articulate product vision and strategy to stakeholders.
  • Customer focus is your foundation. You bring a deep understanding of customer needs and experience in gathering feedback (VOB/VOC).

How We'll Take Care of You: 

  • $200,000 to $220,000
