Eaton is Hiring a Program Manager II Near Waukesha, WI

Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Program Manager II. This position is located at our Waukesha, WI location. Relocation assistance will be provided to candidates currently residing within the US/PR.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120075.03 - $176110.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

The Program Manager will plan, direct, and execute capital projects related to footprint rationalizations, capacity expansions, manufacturing methods/processes, and facilities using comprehensive knowledge of existing capabilities and new technology. Implements new manufacturing processes with an emphasis on integrating the most efficient methods. Responsible for achieving defined project metrics such as schedule, budget, and benefits. Ensure close collaboration with the local operations teams in order to assure project success. Examines the needs of the project/program/business to develop projects and build the business case.

  • Provides project leadership for both large and small scale projects.
  • Manage and maintain program /project metrics for throughout the duration of projects.
  • Needs to effectively lead meetings and documentation for project teams and conduct project update meetings to agreed upon schedules.
  • Leverages global resources and prior project contacts to develop the best solutions and assemble best project business cases.
  • Executes large and complex projects for PSD (experienced in PROLaunch STP and NPI execution).
  • Build organizational competency - Mentors and trains key individuals in the organization.
  • Evaluate alternate manufacturing processes (ex: additive manufacturing, Metal Infused Manufacturing, plating) that focus on cost reduction, material optimization, and supply chain resiliency.
  • Manage supplier and contractor contracts, pricing, terms and conditions, warranty, etc.
  • Manage contractor/supplier work while on site at Eaton facilities and assure adherence to Eaton’s Contractor Safety Program.
  • Manage capital and expense spending within approved budget amounts. Provide monthly spending projection updates and able to hit forecasted targets.
  • Manage company assets including capitalization process as well as transfer and retirements.
  • Assist in the development of various project scenarios for comparison and evaluation which could include footprint expansion and facility consolidations.
  • Travel approximately 35%

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Program Management, or a combination of Program Management with some Operations, OpEx, Manufacturing Engineering or Facilities experience
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Six Sigma Green/Black belt certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of work in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in Risk Management and Business Continuity
  • Experience managing complex program such as construction, production line moves, infrastructure build out
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP) or equivalent

Skills:

  • Broad analytical skills and business acumen
  • Fully demonstrating in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
  • Excellent team leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team environment across multiple sites and customers globally
