About the Role:
As a Travel Destination Specialist, you'll be responsible for planning holidays, suggesting travel destinations, maintaining client files, and managing large-scale events. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure our clients are satisfied and loyal, returning to us for future travel needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel Arrangements: Plan and book travel for both business and vacation customers
- Client Consultation: Understand customers’ needs and preferences, including schedules and costs
- Package Planning: Create and organize tour packages, excursions, and day trips
- Information Management: Find and provide fare and schedule information
- Cost Calculation: Calculate total travel expenses for clients
- Reservation Management: Book reservations for travel, hotels, rental cars, and special events
- Trip Guidance: Inform clients about their trips, including details on required documents like passports or visas
- Local Insights: Offer advice on local weather conditions, customs, and attractions
- Alternative Arrangements: Make alternative booking arrangements if changes arise before or during the trip
- No Experience Necessary: Training will be provided
