Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This is a temporary position that is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the environmental health and safety (EH&S) policies and procedures within the organization and off site service facilities. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to EH&S audits and handles all contact with appropriate agencies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Conducts comprehensive audits of facilities and processes to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
• Thoroughly reviews facility operations and processes to assess compliance with applicable environmental and safety regulations, identifying any potential violations or risks. (Essential)
• Conducts EH&S audits, surveys, and inspections, and collects data required by regulatory agencies. (Essential)
• Ensures the company operational policies meet regulatory and permit requirements. (Essential)
• Ensures appropriate regulatory reports, licenses, permits, and fees are current. (Essential)
• Interface with regulatory audits, documents response and implements corrective actions where environmental health and safety hazards exist. (Essential)
• Ensure the new facilities are designed in compliance with environmental health & safety regulations. (Essential)
• Complies with EBARA safety policies, including participation in and completion of all required safety training. (Essential)
• Maintains clean and safe working environment compliant with Ebara safety policies. (Essential)
• Performs other duties as assigned. (Non-Essential

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work related experience.

Experience

• Three (3) - Six (6) years related work experience, preferably in EH&S audits.
• ISO 14001 Certification Experience
• Previous experience in conducting audits of facilities, construction projects, and programs.
• Working knowledge of general policies and procedures.
• Strong Customer Relations skills.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Working knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Strong relationship building skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal colleagues and customer.
• Demonstrated teamwork and Organizational skills.

• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills.
