About The Team And The RoleWe are looking to hire a Sr. Product Manager in the Shipping organization at eBay to help us delight and excite eBay customers around the world. The position will be responsible for owning innovative shipping products that touch millions of buyers and sellers. The role focuses on improving the shipping experience across the buyer funnel from search to checkout, also through the introduction of new shipping programs for sellers. These are cutting-edge products that millions of customers interact with in real-time at global scale.
To be successful in this role, you need to be able to identify and unlock opportunities, solve complex customer problems, lead execution with analytics, design, data science and engineering teams, and launch new capabilities to deliver impact.
Deep understanding of two sided marketplaces and/or e-commerce is preferred.
What You Will Accomplish

• Own eBay Shipping products and bring continuous improvements to customer experiences, encompassing both buyer and seller interactions with shipping on our ecommerce platform
• Responsible for providing insights on product performance and customer behavior to senior leadership teams at a regular cadence
• Identify innovative growth opportunities based on insights and build momentum by bringing along executive leadership teams and business partners within the company
• Work closely with stakeholders to come up with quantitative analysis clearly articulate complex ideas into clear, usable recommendations

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in product management roles in technology companies with growing scope and responsibilities, two-sided marketplace experience preferred
• eCommerce shipping and logistics related experience preferred but not required
• Expertise in A/B testing methodologies, measuring impact and launching complex features iteratively at a global scale
• Strong technical aptitude and understanding of both functional and nonfunctional requirements of backend services, APIs, and customer facing product experiences
• Ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment while balancing multiple responsibilities, scoping projects, evaluating priorities, and fostering effective collaboration
• Exhibit leadership skills including influencing cross functional teams, managing conflicting priorities and building consensus
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis, data visualization and data mining to tell the story behind numbers and derive practical insights including funnel analysis, customer behavior analysis, cohort analysis etc. to provide recommendations on product improvement and growth

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$149,200 - $234,850
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
