We're dedicated to serving the global collectible community - millions of buyers and tens of thousands of retailers - representing a $25B hobby market.
As a Senior Product Manager , you will use your experience and success to act as a leader with vision and be a driving force for one of TCGplayer's critical central initiatives: our Seller Experience products . You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment to design, implement, and evaluate initiatives that enhance our customers' lives. Our team prides itself on a culture that fosters camaraderie, embraces diversity, and exudes passion. If you like delighting customers across the collectibles community and can clearly and persuasively articulate "why" something must get done, this is the job for you.
What you will accomplish:
  • Improve the core product experience for our sellers by focusing on tools and services that enable them to grow and operate their business, including improvements to seller identity and account management.
  • Build strategies for these products that are competitive, cost-effective, and serve our international customers' needs.
  • Determine customer needs through direct interactions, qualitative research, and statistical analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams of developers, marketing, design, operations, and sales professionals to launch, optimize, and innovate on TCGplayer's seller tools.
  • Define and own the product vision and strategy, measuring and achieving ambitious goals, regardless of temporary setbacks.
  • Serve as subject matter expert on small business hobby and collectible sellers' practices, operations, and paths to long-term success.
  • Document software (and possibly hardware) product definitions, from initial value propositions and use cases to individual features and workflows.
  • Communicate the goals and guide the delivery of in-house and 3rd-party product solutions, including roadmaps, backlogs, milestones, and go-to-market plans.
What you will bring:
  • 7 years of product management experience, including subject matter expertise in small business products and services, both within the United States and internationally.
  • Deep experience with SaaS products, including account registration, onboarding and management, in ecommerce and online marketplace contexts.
  • Deep understanding of customer onboarding and retention strategies in an international SMB market.
  • Ability to engage in technical discussions and collaborations with design, engineering and operations teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to every audience.
  • Ability to mentor and guide cross-functional teams without supervisory responsibility and work in a collaborative environment.
  • Ability to challenge current thinking and bring others along to implement new insights to improve business results.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view and the ability to influence and guide them to decisions and finality.
  • Demonstrated success as a product manager or similar role working with small business ecommerce tools.
  • Expertise at customer, operations, and workflow research and past examples of creating new customer value.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
