Overview:

Ebenezer is hiring an Registered Nurse/RN role whom would be responsible for ensuring that the safety and health needs of the Long term care center and transitional care unit patients are met. Supported by a team of nursing assistants, housekeeping, activities, culinary, social work and more. Come join the Jones-Harrison Skilled Nursing community in Minneapolis, MN near beautiful Cedar lake.

Nursing schedule includes;

    • 48 hours per two weeks
    • NOC shift
    • Every other Saturday/Sunday and holiday schedule rotation

Responsibilities/Job Description:
  • Monitors personal cares provided to assure consistency with each individual Care Plan
  • Coordinates medications and performs treatments per physician orders and facility policies
  • RN Assesses care plans, resident goals and revises, modify as needed
  • Provides reports and documentation related to incidents, change of status and cares provided
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current MN RN license or by start date
    • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currently

      enrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must be

      obtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independent

      practice

  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems
  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
