POSITION SUMMARY:
The Collateral Analyst serves as the initial assessor, monitor, and controller of collateral and loan activity for a portfolio. The Collateral Analyst’s primary job duties includes reviewing all collateral that is provided by a borrower to secure a potential loan, considering all of the information provided and ensuring that it meets the compliance and financial requirements for a loan. The Collateral Analyst also coordinates with credit management if there are outstanding disputes over the collateral and also provides reports on all accounts and maintains a large quantity of documentation.
