POSITION

This Rental Coordinator will work directly with customers via telephone and e-mail to provide equipment information and availability, process rental contracts and arrange transportation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Will facilitate the rental process from start to finish, creating the contract and follow up to make sure they are signed.

· Provide sales support for inside sales and work to establish new business within the equipment markets.

· Assist in managing customer relationships.

· Coordinate repairs for equipment.

· Issue and receive purchase orders.

· Open and close work orders within business systems.

· Understand and facilitate the transportation of equipment.

· Work to establish new business within the equipment markets.

· Tracking and monitoring utilization of equipment.

· Any and all other duties assigned. DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

· This position demands occupation in an office environment that regularly uses standard office equipment requiring the ability to communicate in person and over the telephone with other employees, the ability to interpret printed materials and a computer screen, the stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, the ability to lift and carry supplies and files weighing up to 15 pounds and to move about the inside of the office to access supplies, office machinery, etc.

· Employee might be exposed to various chemicals, vapors, pollutants, virus or other air-borne pathogens, gases, uneven surfaces, loud noises, moving vehicles or machines and dust/debris.

EXPECTED POSITION HOURS

· This is a full-time position. Occasional overtime may be required as job duties demand with prior approval.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Work Experience

· A high school diploma or GED is required.

· Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred or qualified on the job training may be a substitute for education.

· Two (2) years of experience in heavy dirt industry and transportation preferred; or a mix of education and on-the-job training may be a substitute for years of experience.

· RentalMan experience preferred.

· Rental experience required.

Required Skills and Abilities

· Conscientious, diligent, and detail-oriented with ability to stay organized.

· Ability to quickly react to changes.

· Knowledge of commercial dirt equipment preferred.

· Team player with excellent people skills.

· Must be customer oriented.

· Must be a disciplined self-starter with track record of success.

· Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

· General computer knowledge and data entry skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point).

Certifications, Licenses, and other Requirements

· Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
