Position Title: Connections Manager, Paid Media

Duration: 3 month contract (potential for hire or extensions)

Location: KCMO

Job Description:

The Senior Connections Manager, Paid Media manages key media accounts from campaign start to finish including planning, buying, execution and evaluation of campaign performance. This individual will have experience in all forms of media including traditional, digital and emerging, and will be responsible for the maintenance of client annual budgets and campaign performance. This individual will also play a key role in the mentoring and development of junior team members.

Responsibility:

Managing key media accounts and ensuring that client deliverables related to media planning and buying are completed and executed to the client’s expectations

Ability to organize, prioritize and manage workflow related to digital and traditional media planning and buying, inclusive of campaign execution and performance evaluation

Oversee trafficking, and ensure all required tags are used and campaign is structured correctly for desired analytics outcome

Oversight of the advertising budget, ensuring execution of media plans and monitoring buys

Development of POVs/position papers on key client or industry issues

Responsible for training and mentoring team members in their learning and understanding of the media buying and planning process

Required Skills:

Integrated channel planning experience inclusive of traditional, digital and emerging

Extensive understanding of the digital advertising industry’s infrastructure

Passion for, and interest in, digital and emerging media

Ability to lead media strategy and planning

Experience with advanced digital media reporting and analytics

Experience managing digital media campaign launches

Work well under pressure with attention to detail

Maintain good relationships with outside vendors and clients, and within agency

Strong communication and analytical skills

Proficiency using third-party ad serving tool Google Ad Manager and experience using media research tools (MRI, Nielsen, comScore, SQAD, SRDS, DoubleClick)

Required Experience:

At least 4 years of relevant experience in an agency setting

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or relevant field preferred

Fluency in managing digital campaign launches

Demonstrated experience with digital media reporting and analytics

Excellent verbal, written and presenting skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
