skilled and experienced Construction Manager to join the team and oversee the construction of
grid-scale wind or solar projects.
Job Description:Position Overview: The Construction Manager will be responsible for the successful planning,
execution, and completion of grid-scale wind or solar projects. This role requires a seasoned
professional with extensive experience in the renewable energy sector, particularly in managing
large-scale wind or solar construction projects. The Construction Manager will ensure that
projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:â Project Management: Lead and manage all aspects of construction for grid-scale wind
or solar projects, from site preparation through commissioning.
â Scheduling and Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring
timely completion of all construction phases.
â Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial
objectives are met.
â Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the efforts of the construction team,
subcontractors, and suppliers.
â Quality Control: Implement and enforce strict quality control procedures to ensure all
construction activities meet industry standards and project specifications.
â Safety Management: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance
with all health and safety regulations.
â Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with project
stakeholders, including clients, engineers, local authorities, and community
representatives.
â Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure
project success.
â Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant
regulations, permits, and environmental guidelines.
â Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress reports to senior management and clients,
highlighting key milestones and any issues encountered.
Qualifications:â Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
â Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on grid 1 scale wind or solar projects.
â Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale renewable energy projects.
â In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations specific to wind
and solar projects.
â Strong leadership and team management skills.
â Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
â Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
â Proficiency in project management software and tools.
â PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
