Position Description:
Ecompex is recruiting a Sustainability Training Facilitator to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) Sustainability Program. This role will work with a team to develop user guides, newsletters, and sustainability workshops and training, assist with program briefings, conduct annual data calls, and support administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and utilize their expertise in sustainability and training to support the team mission.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability, preferably within military medical and clinical operations and delivering green health care.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching workshops, webinars, and/or creating educational material.
- Ability to travel up to 25-50%
Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of US driver’s license.
- Understanding and familiarity of DHA, healthcare operations and delivery and Department of Defense (DOD) command structure.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of sustainability principles, practices, and regulations.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to compile and analyze data effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the DHA Sustainability Program Manager in developing and delivering program briefings to various stakeholders.
- Establish and oversee the social media online presence of DHA Sustainability.
- Develop materials for sustainability workshops and trainings.
- Conduct sustainability meetings, workshops, webinars, and trainings.
- Develop and release newsletters, articles, and Earth Day publications.
- Develop and provide program briefings when requested.
- Create and maintain the DHA User’s Guide for the annual data call of the Sustainability Program, ensuring Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) adherence to the DHA Sustainability Program.
- Provide support for taskers related to sustainability efforts, as requested by the Government.
- Assist in the development of guidance documents, case studies, best management practices compendiums, and market analysis reports.
- Research innovative technologies for cost savings and environmental efficiencies.
- Prepare data analysis, executive summaries, and information papers for specific tasker topics.
