OIPA (Oracle Insurance Policy Administration) Senior Developer

Onsite 2-3 days per week -Dallas, TX

Primary Role Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work on problems involving the evaluation of specifications for complex existing business requirements and processes to maintain and modify the technical/functional and documents.
2. Work with Service Management, internal and external stake holders to provide solutions
3. Perform functional gap analysis, review design documentation and participate in design reviews
4. Review and interpret architectural and technical design documents to develop complex OIPA transactions and processes using best practice OIPA configuration techniques
5. Review logical queries, calculations, reporting and complex formulas to troubleshoot the tickets
6. Develop Technical configuration and SOP Documents
7. Perform code reviews, migrations smoke testing
8. Strong understanding of OIPA database schema and relational objects inherent to it
9. OIPA daily Activity Error Report Review
10. Document and share findings with the build team if the issue need to be fixed
11. OIPA Cycle Support Failures, SLAs exceeded
12. Fluent in OIPA integration patterns (AS file, OIPA extensions, Web Services/API)
13. Troubleshoot REST or SOAP services for integration failures or issues
14. Expertise in entity based logical modeling and data throughput optimization
15. Provide XSLT and OIPA configuration support for migrations or troubleshooting
16. Collaborate with cross functional teams to align business intent with system behaviour
17. Understanding of OIPA schema and ability build SQL statements for application data related issues.
