Position Title: Staff Accountant (A4)
Reports to: Controller
Location: Hybrid position, must be based in the Portland, Oregon / Vancouver, WA Metro region. Required to be present in the Portland office twice a week and as needed.
Starting Salary: $55,000 – $61,500 → Starting salary will be based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The starting salary will not exceed this posted range.
Full Annual Salary Range for Level: $55,000 – $81,000

Job Summary
The Staff Accountant is responsible for various accounting functions with a focus on payroll management and accounts payable. The position oversees leave tracking, personnel data entry, weekly bill pay, and invoice tracking. The Staff accountant oversees bi-weekly timesheet completion and helps to resolve employee pay-related issues. The position works closely with the Controller and other accounting personnel and collaborates between the finance team and the HR department.

You are detail-oriented and demonstrate ease with finance-related technology such as accounting systems, payroll systems, and Excel. You enjoy learning new software and have a strong interest in working alongside and providing support to a dynamic multi-racial team. You are consistently looking for ways to improve efficiency and be proactive in managing accounting processes.
