ECS is seeking a PKI Administrator/Engineer to work in our Boyers, PA office Please Note: This position is contingent upon [contract award].

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled PKI Administrator with expert-level experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments within a Windows domain. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in deploying internal certificate authorities, issuing external certificates, and managing certificate authority databases. Additionally, the candidate should have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and supporting smart card authentication across an organization. This role requires project lead experience, the ability to produce technical documents and engineering diagrams, strong written and verbal communication skills, and a team-focused approach. Experience administering Microsoft PKI solutions in an enterprise environment is essential.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience.
  • Expert-level experience designing, deploying, and supporting Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) environments in a Windows domain.
  • Experience deploying internal certificate authorities.
  • Experience issuing external certificates from external certificate authorities and installing certificates on systems.
  • Experience building out and maintaining certificate authority databases.
  • Expert-level experience designing, deploying, and supporting the use of smart cards for system authentication across an agency.
  • Project lead experience with a demonstrable history of leading successful deployments of enterprise-class solutions.
  • Skilled at producing technical documents and engineering diagrams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Team-focused and collaborative.
  • Experience administering Microsoft PKI solutions in an enterprise environment.
  • Expert-level understanding of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).

Required Certifications

AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with engineering and implementing designs related to IT infrastructure upgrades, including Servers, Active Directory, DNS, SAN, and Virtualization.
  • Proficiency in configuring and maintaining back-end infrastructure systems such as VMware, ESX, NetApp, and Server Enclosures, ensuring they are up-to-date and patched.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud services, including Entra ID and Azure Automation.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Ability to design, implement, and maintain secure DNS solutions.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining Active Directory Federation Services and Azure Active Directory Connect.
  • Skills in designing, implementing, and maintaining DHCP configurations.
  • Familiarity with deploying and maintaining Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms, including Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Experience managing and operating systems within both VMware and Azure cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in performing account and certificate management to support PIV cards and user access.

Desired Certifications:

MS-900 M365 Fundamentals
