ECU Health is Hiring a Sr. Dir, Foundation Near Greenville, SC
Position SummaryThis position is responsible for assisting and advising the Chief Philanthropy Officer as needed in alignment of the fundraising and stewardship operations of ECU Health. This position will help operationalize the ECU Health Foundation, which includes assisting with strategy, strategy execution, fundraising, and administrative duties.
ResponsibilitiesBoard Relations and Governance
Assists the Chief Philanthropy Officer, as directed, with the cultivation and sustainment of relationships with members of multiple boards, health sciences faculty and staff members, and community leaders; communicates mission and vision to key stakeholders.
Assists the Chief Philanthropy Officer, as directed, with providing support to governing boards and its committees, and leadership.
Fund Raising
Maintains a portfolio of major donors as assigned by the Chief Philanthropy Officer. This includes building long term relationships with donors based on mission and vision, and tracking moves management in Sales Force.
Assist the development team in fundraising activities as assigned by the Chief Philanthropy Officer, with a focus on Brody School of Medicine and Laupus Library.
Assist with special fundraising projects as assigned by the Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Strategy and Planning
Advise the Chief Philanthropy Officer on policy, strategy, and operational matters. This includes problem solving key issues and proactively seeking solutions.
Serve as a member of the Chief Philanthropy Officers leadership team and participate in leadership meetings.
Collaborate with leadership team to design and implement goals, priorities, and initiatives.
Assist, as assigned by the Chief Philanthropy Officer, in the execution of strategy and tactics to advance the mission.
Stewardship
Assist in the development and implementation of stewardship initiatives, with a focus on Brody School of Medicine projects and funds.
Serve as an ambassador of the ECU Health Foundation at events and gatherings as assigned by the Chief Philanthropy Officer.
Minimum Requirements4 year college degree in Communication, Corporate Development, Public Relations and/or Marketing is required.
3 to 5 years of experience in healthcare fundraising, public relations, management, and/or marketing or comparable education is preferred.
Must maintain a valid NC driver's license and be licensed in the state of resident and maintain the ECU Health requirement minimum insurance limits.
