ECU Department of Joyner Library-Research and Instructional Services is currently seeking a Graduate Library Assistant to help provide support to department faculty and staff.DutiesThe Graduate Library Assistant duties include but are not limited to the following:• (Primary Duty) Providing patron assistance at the Research Desk.• Assisting faculty and staff.• Opening and closing service desk.• Shelving and shelf-reading processes.• Other duties as assigned.Qualifications• Candidates must exhibit professionalism and have good communication and customer service skills.• Candidates must be intellectually curious, and willing to learn.• Candidates must have a flexible schedule and the availability to work afternoons, evenings, and some weekends.Hours: 10-15 hours per weekPay: $15.00/hr.Notes: This position is a great opportunity for graduate students to gain library and customer service experience, increase their general library knowledge base, and improve their research skills.
