ECU Department of Student Involvement & Leadership is currently seeking several Summer Student Assistants.The LWCC student assistant position is open to full-time undergraduate students, full-time graduate students. The purpose of the employment is to offer students meaningful work, educational experiences. Students will help with the general up keeping of the office to ensure it's neat and ready for meetings/events. Students must demonstrate a commitment to working with diverse groups of people to help create an environment of inclusion. Students will represent the Ledonia Wright Cultural Center at the Summer Orientation Information Fair and share information on the programs and services for students. Students will maintain a professional demeanor and help to maintain the office throughout the summer. The New Student Orientation Involvement Fairs are held in the Main Campus Student Center from 5:30pm-7:45pm on June 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26, July 1, 8, 10, and 15. The summer student assistant is expected to attend these to share info about the Ledonia Wright Cultural Center.General responsibilities:assist with answering phonesrun errands as neededfilingmaking copies and faxing upon requestwelcoming visitors into the officegeneral knowledge of the Ledonia Wright Cultural CenterKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:1. ability to work with others2. ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously3. ability to assist clients from concept to production4. adherence to deadlines and budget5. willingness to contribute to the overall operation of the LWCC6. ability to generate, share and follow through on creative ideasEssential Physical Requirements:1. Ability to utilize computer workstation for the majority of the workday2.
