Job Opportunity: Parts Delivery Driver at Ed Carroll VW, Audi and Porsche

Ed Carroll VW, Audi and Porsche is currently seeking a dedicated full-time Parts Delivery Driver to join our team. This position requires a candidate with a strong driving record and previous customer service experience. The Parts Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in our operation, responsible for timely delivery of parts to our valued customers and providing support to our Parts Department with various assigned tasks. The typical workday for this position is scheduled from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver and pick up parts as directed by Parts Manager and Parts Staff.

Check incoming stock for accuracy, inspect for damage, and ensure correct parts are received.

Maintain a cooperative attitude as a team player and adeptly handle multiple tasks.

Organize and stock parts on shelves as required.

Ensure truck is loaded securely to prevent damage to delicate parts and vehicle sheet metal.

Optimize delivery schedules for efficiency and provide updated schedules for contact.

Maintain cleanliness and regular maintenance checks on delivery vehicle.

Immediately report any vehicle malfunctions to the Parts Manager.

Update delivery logs promptly after each completed delivery.

Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

· Proficiency in reading and comprehending oral and written instructions.

· Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

· Basic computer and calculator skills.

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

· Positive attitude with a proactive "can-do" approach.

Training Provided:

Hazardous Materials and Forklift training will be provided as necessary.
