Job Summary:
Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Dispatcher. This is a full-time, individual contributor role based in Klamath Falls, Oregon. As a Dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of petroleum products to our customers. Your main responsibilities will include managing incoming customer orders, coordinating with drivers and other team members, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary of $20 to $25 per hour, paid semimonthly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming customer orders for petroleum products
- Coordinate with drivers and other team members to schedule deliveries
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with customers, drivers, and other stakeholders
- Monitor delivery progress and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Maintain accurate records of delivery schedules, route changes, and customer information
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Train and onboard new dispatchers as needed
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting for the dispatch department
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dispatching or customer service role, preferably in the petroleum industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and dispatch software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
