Job Summary:
Ed Staub & Sons Petroleum, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Mechanic and Welder to join our team in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This is a full-time, hourly position that falls under the Technician/Skilled Labor/Contractor job category. As an individual contributor, the Maintenance Mechanic and Welder will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in our truck shop.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities, including but not limited to lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting machinery and other components.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and facility issues and make necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed.
- Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects.
- Respond to emergency repair calls in a timely manner.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols at all times.
-Tig, Mig (and some stick) welding experience
- Wiring and electrical experience
-Fabrication Experience
-must work well (side by side) with the other mechanics
- Always willing to learn new things.
- Mechanic skills helpful as you may be asked to do some maintenance on Trucks
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various tools and equipment.
- Experience working with petroleum equipment is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
