Position: Painter

Eden Senior Care is seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team at Eden Senior Care to work in the Fox Valley region.

The primary responsibilities of this position involve repainting common areas of our senior care buildings throughout the year, as well as contributing to renovation projects by repainting rooms and assisting with other refurbishments as needed. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Essential Functions:

Painting:

• Repaint common areas of Eden Senior Care buildings year-round to maintain a fresh and inviting atmosphere for residents and visitors
• Execute painting projects in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring high-quality results.
• Collaborate with team members to plan and coordinate painting schedules to minimize disruption to residents.

Renovation Support:

• Assist in renovation projects by preparing surfaces, selecting and applying appropriate paints, and ensuring a high standard of craftsmanship.
• Work closely with other departments to understand the overall vision for each renovation and contribute creative ideas for enhancing the aesthetic appeal of living spaces.

Flooring Experience (Huge Plus):

• If applicable, leverage experience in flooring installation and maintenance to contribute to comprehensive renovation projects.
• Collaborate with flooring specialists and other team members to ensure a cohesive and well-executed final result.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Effectively communicate with supervisors, fellow team members, and other staff to ensure a seamless workflow and successful completion of projects.
• Provide input and feedback on material selection, color schemes, and overall design aesthetics.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to painting and renovation activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
