The Network Engineer III, is responsible for programming, analyzing, upgrading, managing, monitoring, and expanding EDF Renewable Energy's network infrastructure, servers, software performance, desktop systems, and communications devices related to network/SCADA operations located throughout North America, Mexico, and Canada. These operations include corporate offices, datacenters, and wind and solar power generation plants owned and/or managed by EDF Renewable Energy. Other responsibilities include infrastructure installation and operations at all operations centers, working collaboratively with other departments and IT team members as well as other technical contributors. The Network Engineer will assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of EDF Renewable Energy IT operations compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines such as NERC and FERC
30% - Performs network problem resolution and assists in the development and documentation of technical standards, ticketing system problem queue entry and closure, and interface applications. Provides Tier II support for end-users.
25% - Monitors and maintains the hardware and software for the network infrastructure, QoS and Routing protocol compatibility, performs system tuning, and makes recommendations for improvements. Monitors and maintains network circuits and system capacities, monitors network traffic patterns.
25% - Assists in the installation of network infrastructure, standardization, and plans/designs LAN, WAN, Firewall, VPN, Security, Satellite, and wireless solutions for all EDF locations. Works with telecommunications carriers for installation and troubleshooting circuits. Monitors and maintains VoIP infrastructure. On time accurate delivery: Ensuring that your assigned processes/procedures/projects are executed on time and with active and punctual delivery. Manage vendor service level agreements (SLAs) for compliance.
15% - Participate in the creation, implementation and continual improvement of standards, processes and procedures required to deliver high quality customer service. Follow Change Management procedures related to system upgrades and patch management. Adhere to Change Management process on routine changes. Upgrades network hardware and software and maintains established standards. Coordinates and applies network and server patches and fixes. Generate and maintain infrastructure documentation including network designs, addressing schemes and version management and maintain document portal and documentation standards.
05% - Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the systems being supported.

This role's Target annual base salary range is between $110,000 and $135,000.
