Edge360 is looking for an ambitious, self-motivated individual who excels at multi-tasking and has strong organizational skills to join our growing Surveill product team.
Job is On-Site only - NOT a hybrid or remote position
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Network and Network Devices
- Server Maintenance and Updates
- Setting up and testing subsystems for integrations
- Building, troubleshooting, and repairing computer systems
- Test and reproduce bugs in the software to aid the development team
- Asset Management
- Internal Networking and Systems troubleshooting
- Systems management (Building and maintaining)
- Integration System Setup and Testing (Cameras, Lidars, Radars, Servers, etc.)
- Customer Support (Surveill)
- Generic IT Support (fixing stuff around the office)
- Tradeshow help (when needed)
- Building out and testing Surveill
- Monthly updates for all servers
- After hours support (when needed)
- Building Virtual Machines
- Perform other duties as needed to help fulfill our mission
- Onboarding and Offboarding
Assigning assets (computer and equipment
Setting up building access
Creating/removing accounts and Assigning Licenses (Email, developer accounts, etc.)
Ordering equipment if needed
Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in computers or information technology or equivalent experience
- Basic knowledge of security systems (VMS/CCTV/Access Control/Analytics)
- Network Troubleshooting
- Troubleshooting Skills
- Firewalls and Port Forwarding
- Building and running ethernet
- Virtual Environments Hyper-V/VMWare
- Knowledge of networking principles and the IP protocol
- Understanding of Windows desktop and server networking
- Experience with PC configuration and troubleshooting with the Windows operating system
- Excellent knowledge of VM Environments and Microsoft Clustering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience and knowledge of the physical security information management industry is helpful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, independent, and comfortable working directly with customers
- Technical or field support experience preferred
- Effective organizational skills - ability to simultaneously manage multiple support incidents and to work independently but with support from the Development team
Desirable Skills:
- 1-2 years of experience with commercial Video Management Systems
- Advanced knowledge in networking technology and architecture
- Certifications for Microsoft, Security Engineering, Cyber Security, Networking or Project Management
- Knowledge of Windows and server environments
- Experience with Physical Security Systems
- Linux environments
- Google/Microsoft infrastructure experience
- Building and fixing computers
- Powershell and scripting
