JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: School-Based Literacy Lead Teacher and Coach
POSITION DURATION / LOCATION: This is a two-year, grant-funded position that begins on August 1, 2024.
QUALIFICATIONS:
REPORTS TO: School Principal
JOB GOAL: To ensure high-quality literacy instruction in grades PK-5 that leads to all students meeting and exceeding reading benchmarks and developing a love for reading.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
SALARY: NC Teacher's Salary Schedule with Local Supplement and $11,000 annual pay differential
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 11 months
EVALUATION: Quarterly NCEES Teacher Leadership Specialist Evaluation Instrument
