Role Description
This is a part-time role for a Paralegal Assistant for our busy immigration practice. The Paralegal Assistant will be responsible for assisting paralegals and attorneys with the organization and preparation of immigration petitions, case management, data entry, communication with clients, and providing overall support to the legal team. The role requires managing deadlines, and assisting with case preparation and file organization. The Paralegal Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining and updating client files. Hybrid work may be considered for more experienced candidates.
Qualifications/Preferences
- Experience preparing and managing immigration cases preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in using legal software and tools
- Foreign language fluency a plus
