Edgewater Federal Solutions is Hiring a Remote Project Control Manager
Overview
Edgewater Federal Solutions, a rapidly growing company providing mission-critical support across Government agencies, is currently seeking a Project Control Manager to support the operations teams with internal project-level financial reporting, forecasting, and financial efficiencies, as well as support financially-related contract deliverables and modification pricing.
The Project Control Manager will be a trusted business partner that will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and report all budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics for direct programs in collaboration with CFO.
- Develop Estimates-at-Completion (EACs) for Firm Fixed Price (FFP) programs.
- Collaboratively work with Program/Project Managers on revenue and gross profit improvement initiatives.
- Support contract deliverables.
- Monitor receivables for each program to achieve corporate days of sales outstanding (DSO) goals.
- Support contract modification pricing.
- Support ad hoc new business pricing.
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in Project Control, FP&A, or other related functions.
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting Federal Government Contractors.
- Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- Knowledge and experience with cost-type, time and material (T&M), firm fixed price (FFP), and Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) contracts.
- Experience with GSA schedules and other IDIQ/BPA/GWAC vehicles.
- Ability to build consensus across multiple stakeholders under general supervision.
- Expert skills in Microsoft Excel and the ability to effectively communicate.
- Strong attention to detail is needed due project deadlines and schedules.
Preferred Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or another related field
