Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a* Principal Design Specialist opportunity for our customer in Aiken, SC* to support the Savannah River Site.

DUTIES
Plan, develop, prioritize, coordinate, implement, and complete the process to renew the following Certificates of Authorization for the Company pressure relief valve test and repair facilities:
In addition, provide support to obtain a National Board Certificate of Accreditation designating Company as a Federal Inspection Agency. Specific activities include preparation of the formal application for renewal, review of quality system manuals, coordination of on-site assessment meetings and shop visits for demonstrations of capabilities, management briefings, etc.
Technical services shall be provided using processes and procedures identified by the End User. Programmatic guidance will be provided by the End User.
QUALIFICATIONS
Work Hours:
A 40-hour work week is scheduled. Organization utilizes various work schedules; including 5/8s (8 hours/day; five days per week), 4/10s (10 hours/day; four days per week), and 9/80s (9 hours/day, five days on week A and 4 days on week B). Work week excludes Company holidays. Each workday has a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Area Security Access:
A DOE security clearance is not required for this position.
