Edgewater Technical Associates is Hiring a Project Technical Support Advisor Near Aiken, SC

Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Technical Support Advisor opportunity to support the Savannah River Site.

Work Location: Aiken, SC

Application Deadline: 06/17/24 (by noon ET)

Project Technical Support Advisor-

Duties:

  • Support the Tritium Operation organization in the Project & Technical Support for all the Operating facilities at SRNS NNSA Operations.
  • Provide technical assistance in developing, reviewing, approving, and presenting technical work documents for the safe operation of Tritium.
  • Ensure that the developed technical documents comply with requirements and codes in the DOE Orders and applicable controls are implemented in field procedures.
  • Conduct Technical Support assessments and maintain program manuals.

Education/Years of Experience:

  • High School with twenty (20) years’ experience, Bachelor of Science with fifteen (15) years’ experience or Master of Science with ten (10) years of experience.
  • Alternate combination of experience/qualification & certification will be considered where candidate does not have a degree.

Experience/Skills:

  • A minimum of twenty (20) years of operation or maintenance experience in the Tritium Facilities (NNSA) or the commercial nuclear industry.
  • Demonstrated personal accountability for facility/project schedules, deadlines, budgets, and the safe performance of work.
  • Work planning and control.
  • Work execution of nuclear facility.
  • Hazard analysis, control selection and implementation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in development, review and execution of Maintenance programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated previous Tritium experience.
  • Possessed an active DOE clearance (“L” or “Q”) within the past two (2) years.
  • Certified/qualified in one of the Tritium Facilities as a FLM, Planner or SOM, previous experience with the use and implementation of Department of Energy (DOE) Order (O) 433.1B, Maintenance Management Program for DOE Nuclear Facilities, 1Y-8.20, 4B Manual, 2S Manual Conduct of Operation, and related directives and standards.

Other Job Requirements:

  • Must Be A US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE “Q” security clearance.
