Edina Public Schools is Hiring a Director of Human Resources Near Minneapolis, MN

Edina Public Schools is seeking exceptional candidates with a proven record of success for the position of Director of Human Resources. With the focus to support and advance the Edina Public Schools’ mission, vision, and core values, the Director of Human Resources serves as the second in command within the human resources department, supporting the Executive Director of Human Resources in managing all aspects of the department. This role is pivotal in implementing human resource strategies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and enhancing employee relations and school district culture. The Director of Human Resources also plays a critical role in leading department operations, including oversight of information systems, recruitment, talent management, employee development, and staffing.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree and at least five (5) years of relevant experience, including supervisory experience, are required. Master’s degree in human resources is preferred. Previous school district human resource experience is highly preferred.
Compensation: This is a twelve-month position with a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary range of $133,128 - $144,266 depending on qualifications. Benefits in accordance with the Non-Affiliated Employees Compensation and Benefits Guidebook.
