EDIS Group is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Cincinnati, OH
The ideal candidate MUST be from Cincinnati, OH and able to commute onsite. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team and assist in company close.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with preparation of monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
- Completes cash receipts and reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule.
- Maintains the general ledger.
- Codes invoices and reconciles accounts.
- Verifies and completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Associates degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 0-2 years experience in accounting.
- Knowledge of general accounting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving skills and can act quickly to provide solutions.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
