Edison Home Health Care is a leading established Home Health Care Agency, servicing patients in all 5 NYC boroughs. We are currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to care for patients in the home care setting in the NYC area excluding Staten Island. Fee for Services $50-$125

Job Duties:

• Evaluates patients referred for home care to determine appropriateness for admission.
• Assesses patients routinely and creates/adjusts the aide Plan of Care based on patient needs.
• Provides routine supervision to Home Health Aides and ongoing instruction/counseling as needed.
• Completes documentation accurately and submits to the agency office in a timely manner.
• Establishes and promotes ongoing communication with Agency personnel.
• Assures customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• R.N. diploma from an accredited NLN program with a minimum of an associate degree (BSN preferred). Current, valid, and unencumbered RN license, certificate or registration or credentialing as required.
• Intermediate Ability to use computerized systems such as Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, HHA Exchange, Electronic and Telephonic Assessments.
• Travel by public transportation or private vehicle is required and will be compensated.

Required experience:

• 1 year minimum of Nursing experience - Required.
• 1 year of Home care experience - Required.
• Bilingual Spanish - Preferred but not Required.
