Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Lead, develop, and inspire a team of Logistics Analysts in the delivery of exceptional service that exceeds customer expectations. Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages growth, innovation, and accountability.
  • Oversee the management of multiple customer accounts, ensuring their needs are met, and expectations are exceeded. Develop and implement strategies to nurture long-term relationships and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technological advancements relevant to our industry and leverage them to optimize customer account management processes. Drive technology implementation to enhance efficiency, data analysis, and overall customer experience.
  • Promote clear and effective communication within the team and across departments. Ensure that customer requests are properly communicated and acted upon in a timely manner, leading to continuous improvement of our products and services.
  • Analyze customer account performance using metrics, historical data, and account KPIs to identify areas of opportunity for improvement. Develop customer action plans and provide progress reports to the management team.
  • Identify training/development needs within the team and coordinate relevant workshops or training sessions to enhance their skills and knowledge in customer account management and the use of technology.
  • Collaborate with the team to address and resolve complex customer issues promptly and professionally. Advocate for customers' needs while balancing the company's interests.
  • Continuously review and refine customer account management processes to streamline operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • 5-7 years' experience in Supply Chain Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing teams.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of logistics and supply chain management, as well as industry-related trends.
  • Strong technological acumen with the ability to leverage software and tools to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration and build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Ability to create and deliver presentations.
  • Understanding of how to develop and implement business strategies through knowledge of company history, culture, identity, and goals.
  • Demonstrated success in driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other computer software.
  • Experience creating development plans for direct reports.
  • Experience developing and executing performance evaluations for direct reports.
