Educational Service District 112 is Hiring a Secondary Music Teacher Near Stevenson, WA

General Responsibilities:
The District is recruiting for a Secondary Music Teacher. The job of Secondary Music Teacher is done for the purpose of facilitating student success in academic and interpersonal skills through implementing District approved curriculum; documenting teaching and student progress/activities/outcomes; addressing specific educational needs of students; providing a safe and optimal learning environment and providing feedback to students, parents and administration regarding student progress, expectations, and goals.

The Secondary Music Teacher will instruct and supervise a diverse group of students by establishing a positive, respectful learning environment while promoting high standards of performance for all students regardless of their background and developmental levels.

Terms of Employment:
Salary: $22,195.61-$41,654.10
Contract: .4 FTE
Building: Wind River Middle School and Stevenson High School
Daily Schedule: 1 period at each school, per day
*This position is not eligible for benefits

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with applicable endorsements for subject matter and grade level(s).
  • Academic Preparation for, or experience in serving an economically and culturally diverse student population in a small, rural school system.
