Educational Solutions company is Hiring a STEM Lead Near Columbus, OH

Curriculum Development:

We are seeking an innovative and experienced STEM Lead to join our educational team. The STEM Lead will be responsible for developing and overseeing the implementation of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) programs across the school network. This role involves curriculum development, teacher training, student engagement, and fostering partnerships with external organizations to enhance STEM education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement a comprehensive STEM curriculum that aligns with state and national standards.
  • Integrate STEM education across various grade levels and subjects.
  • Ensure the curriculum incorporates current and emerging trends in STEM education.
  • Provide training and professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their STEM teaching skills.
  • Offer ongoing support and resources to teachers for effective STEM instruction.
  • Lead collaborative planning sessions and workshops focused on STEM education.
  • Develop and promote programs, projects, and activities that engage students in STEM learning.
  • Organize and oversee STEM-related events, competitions, and clubs.
  • Foster a learning environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking in STEM subjects.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry partners, higher education institutions, and community organizations to support STEM initiatives.
  • Collaborate with external partners to provide students with real-world STEM experiences and mentorship opportunities.
  • Seek grants and funding opportunities to support STEM programs and projects.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of STEM programs and initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform program improvements and student outcomes.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on STEM program progress and achievements to school leadership.
  • Serve as a STEM advocate within the school community and beyond.
  • Stay informed about national and international STEM education trends and best practices.
  • Represent the school at STEM conferences, workshops, and events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, STEM fields, or a related area; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in teaching or coordinating STEM programs.
  • Strong knowledge of STEM curriculum standards and instructional strategies.
  • Proven ability to design and implement engaging STEM programs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Experience in providing professional development and teacher training.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and external partners.
  • Passion for STEM education and a commitment to student success.
