The Student Support Manager (SSM) is a crucial member of our Educational Solutions team, dedicated to addressing challenges stemming from external factors impacting students beyond the school premises. This role requires adept utilization of resources available within the school and the broader community to provide guidance and assistance to students, both within and outside the classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Holistic Student Support: Provide comprehensive support to students facing challenges related to their personal lives, family circumstances, mental health, or any other external factors that may hinder their academic progress.
• Resource Coordination: Identify and leverage available resources within the school and the community to address the diverse needs of students, ensuring they have access to necessary support services and interventions.
• Individualized Guidance: Work closely with students on a one-on-one basis to assess their needs and develop personalized plans to address their specific challenges and enhance their overall well-being.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with teachers, counselors, administrators, and external agencies to create a supportive network that fosters student success and resilience.
• Crisis Intervention: Act promptly to address crises or urgent situations affecting students, providing immediate support and connecting them with appropriate resources for assistance.
• Advocacy: Advocate for students' needs and rights within the school and the community, ensuring they receive fair treatment and access to opportunities that promote their academic and personal growth.
• Parent and Community Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, guardians, and community stakeholders to garner support for student success initiatives and promote a collaborative approach to addressing student needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in education, business administration, or related field (preferred).
• Experience in student recruitment, community engagement, or related areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
