We're seeking an experienced education lawyer, licensed in NORTH CAROLINA - , for a contractual role providing a Legal Information and Strategy Session (LISS) to a prospective client. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience in education law. In this role, you'll offer legal information and strategic advice during a one-hour Zoom call, beginning at the start of the call and concluding at its end. The guidance you provide will be based on limited information from the client and a pre-call review of the client's records.

Please note that this role does not entail legal representation or the pursuit of any legal action on behalf of the client. It requires a skilled legal professional who can efficiently and effectively provide advice and strategy, thereby assisting the client in navigating their legal situation.

After the one-hour Zoom call, you'll be expected to provide the client with a summary and strategy plan. This summary should contain a concise overview of the legal information discussed during the call, including a detailed explanation of the client's legal position and potential actions based on the information provided.

The strategy plan will outline potential courses of action the client might consider given their specific situation. It should analyze the pros and cons of each potential action and provide a reasoned recommendation based on your professional judgment and expertise in education law.

The objective of this strategy plan is to equip the client with a clear roadmap for moving forward with their case or legal issue.

- Role: Experienced education lawyer for a one-time contractual role

- Licensed: Must be licensed in GEORGIA - please do not apply if you do not have active Georgia law license.

- Experience: Minimum of five years in education law

- Session: Providing a Legal Information and Strategy Session (LISS) to a prospective client over a one-hour Zoom call

- Task: Guidance based on limited client-provided information and a pre-call review of client's records

- Post-call Deliverables: Providing a summary and strategy plan for the client
