EEGEE'S is Hiring a General Manager Near Tucson, AZ

Job Overview:
Our General Managers direct and inspire our highly engaged teams to deliver best-in-class guest service. They influence and lead the team to ensure a positive culture that keeps our guests coming back for more! Your clear communication, work ethic, and attention to detail contribute to a memorable eegee's experience for each guest. General Managers are responsible for ensuring that the restaurant meets the company's standards for quality, service, and profitability. General Managers also oversee the hiring, training, and management of team members, as well as the inventory, budget, and marketing of the restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils for the duration of the shift.
  • Collaborates with the team to create, lead, and maintain an inclusive, positive, and safe workplace for staff and guests.
  • Professionally handle guest complaints and feedback.
  • Maintains a professional manner at work and when representing the company outside of work.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates team members and creates supporting documentation.
  • Provides development and growth opportunities for team members.
  • Creates and implements business strategies and goals for the restaurant.
  • Analyzes sales, costs, and profits to optimize performance and monitor trends.
  • Coordinates with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure an adequate number of supplies in stores.
  • Engages and promotes excellent team and interpersonal communication, as well as guest service skills.
  • Conduct regular meetings with team members.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records of the team member's performance, conduct, improvement, and other relevant aspects of their work.
  • Prepares batches of food that are cooked to order or kept warm frequently.
  • Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as grills and/or deep fryers frequently.
  • Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked frequently.
  • Multitasks by cooking several different orders at once, ensuring that all items are prepared per guest instructions frequently.
  • Clean areas and equipment as needed.
  • Any other responsibility that aligns with the role.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (with Or Without Accommodations)
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently and proficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
  • Ability to accept responsibility and be accountable for your actions with integrity.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, is required.
  • Skill level proficient in Microsoft Office and point of sale systems.
  • Ability to be On-call 24/7 and responsive within 2-4 hours.
  • Ability to develop team members who are interested in growing with the company as a Batch Master, Shift Leader, and Assistant Manager.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate to create interpersonal relationships, and guest service excellently.
  • Ability to provide strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving.
Minimum Qualifications Education And Experience
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year of direct experience in fast food/restaurant management is required; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements (required With Or Without Accommodation)
  • Must work five (5) lunch and two (2) dinner shifts per week.
  • Must ensure a member of management is always in the store at any given time.
  • Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Workaround hot equipment, oil, extreme cold (walk-in freezer), and loud noises for the duration of the shift.
  • Must be able to move freely throughout the restaurant frequently to include enclosed and compact spaces.
  • Must be able to remain standing for the duration, excluding breaks.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds often, and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of hands, wrists, fingers, arms, legs, and bending at the waist (climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials) for the duration of the shift.
  • Use of cognitive skills including, but not limited to, learning, remembering, focusing, categorizing, and integrating information for decision-making, problem-solving, and comprehending for the duration of the shift.
