Express Employment is seeking experienced TIG welders to support a local clients' needs in Howell, MI on Day Shift.

• Pay rates based on experience, up to $30/hr for TIG Welders experienced with stainless steel.

Requirements :

• Perform TIG welding on both carbon steel and stainless steel; some MIG welding may be required
• Measuring, cutting, and bending various sizes of pipe and tubing to the required angles and lengths using specialized tools such as pipe cutters and benders.
• Threading and assembling pipe. Fabricating, installing, and fitting pipe systems to exact specifications.
• Assembling, installing, and repairing piping systems in adherence to specifications and relevant trade and building codes.

Qualifications:

• Accomplished TIG & MIG welder with carbon and stainless steel
• Be able to interpret and build from fabrication drawings
• Run orbital welding machines
• Operate basic machinery such as a lathe, drill press, grinders, various types of saws
• Ability to operate fork lift trucks
• Ability to and experience in rigging weights up to 1 ton

Education:

• Completed vocational training OR hands on experience welding
