Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for our Ambulatory Surgery unit. This contract position is perfect for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle a variety of surgical cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient care using evidence-based practices.
• Assess and evaluate patient needs.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team on care plans.
• Educate patients and caregivers on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Manage assignments and resources efficiently.

Skills and Qualifications:

• NYS RN License
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience
• EPIC experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, Associate degree in Nursing considered with relevant experience and/or active enrollment in a BSN program
• Ambulatory Surgery/PACU experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to various cases

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• RN: 2 years (Required)

• ACLS Certification (Required)
