Description
JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Director of Nursing and ADON, the Certified Nursing Assistant will assume direct care for residents in the Care Center in accordance with TJC, federal, state, and local guidelines, organizational and departmental policies, and procedures. Communicates with medical staff, other departments, and outside agencies while maintaining confidentiality. The position requires self-motivation, creativity, and capabilities to function in a semi-autonomous role within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
STANDARDS OF PERFORMANCE
Requirements
Minimum Level of Education: Education level equivalent to completion of High School diploma or documented C.N.A work experience will serve as an equivalent to completed education.
Formal Training:
Licensure, Certification, Registration: Must have and maintain a valid unencumbered Georgia Certified Nurse Aid Certification, and current Basic Life Support CPR certification.
Work Experience: One year of experience in healthcare as a CNA is preferred.
