PurposeEnsure the maintenance of processes that work, and the reinvention of procedures that impede sales. Liaise with team to ensure Porcelanosa products are preferred within the target audience. Maintain continuous awareness of competitive products, pricing, performance, and market share for purpose of recommending product continuance or modifications.
General Description
- Provides customers with product and service information to assist them in their remodeling or new construction projects.
- Recommends products and services to meet customer needs. Processes sales orders, making appropriate arrangements for delivery and installation.
- Conducts cashier transactions as necessary.
- Restocks and/or updates displays and exhibitors in the showroom.
- Obtains and works on relevant databases, organizing and implementing mailing programs. Manages showroom and showroom personnel.
- Coach showroom design consultants to further exceed and maximize showroom sales and targets.
- Identify and provide individual and group product and sales training by liaising with suppliers to ensure that all design consultants have the skills/knowledge to meet and exceed targets.
- Keep track of items which need to be restocked or removed from catalog.
- Resolve strain and conflict between staff to promote a jovial and productive workplace.
- Oversee the design of the showroom.
- Coach and mentor employees.
- Monitor inventory.
- Be well versed in sales techniques in order to attract and secure business.
- Identify training needs and provide training for Sales Associates when necessary.
- Extensive experience selling comparable products.
- Background in sales within A&D or related field.
- Ability to design and create spaces that are engaging and welcoming.
- Top-notch training and mentoring skills
